About the Role

​

We're looking for warm, proactive and reliable individuals to join our growing team.

As a Housekeeping & Home Assistant, you'll help our clients keep their homes organized, functional and welcoming. The role focuses on housekeeping and practical home with light cleaning.

While the emphasis is on keeping homes running smoothly through tidying, organizing and household assistance, we're also looking for someone who is happy to roll up their sleeves and assist with light cleaning where needed.

What you'll do

Depending on each client's priorities, your role may include:

​

• Tidying and resetting living spaces

• Laundry, folding and putting clothes away

• Ironing

• Organising cupboards, wardrobes and storage areas

• Kitchen resets and dishwashing

• Making beds and refreshing bedrooms

• Light errands where required

• Light cleaning, including:

  • Wiping down kitchen and bathroom surfaces

  • Cleaning sinks and mirrors

  • Spot cleaning where required

  • Vacuuming and mopping where appropriate

Essential Requirements

​

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

​

✔ Have previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role.

✔ Be confident working independently in clients' homes.

✔ Hold (or be willing to obtain before commencing work):

• An ABN

• Public Liability Insurance

• A Working with Children Check

• A National Police Check

✔ Be able to provide at least one recent professional reference from a housekeeping or comparable position.

✔ Have reliable transport and the ability to travel to clients across Melbourne's Bayside and surrounding suburbs.
